Training Offered for Your Dog or Other Animal

All Animal Pet Sitting And Home Services will train your dog or other animal at a reasonable rate of $30.00 to
$40.00 per session depending on breed, size, frequency, and temperament.

Economy Discount: For a limited time only, I will train your dog or other animal at a rate of $20 per session.  Each
session is 30 to 60 minutes depending on the phase of training and the animals capabilities.  This rate is
applicable to plans set up for training the animal only.  Human training sessions and introductory visits are $25
per session lasting 30 to 45 minutes.  I do not like hearing people tell me that they cannot afford dog training
because of the economy.  The average duration for a successful training period is 2 to 3 weeks for clients who
follow directions and much longer for those who do not.  It is up to you.
 Animals I have experience training
include dogs, cats, horses, goats, iguanas, cockatoos, parrots, and cockatiels.

Training sessions are flexible to your needs as well as your dogs needs.  We offer in your home dog training with
or without owner participation during sessions.

My training method is not based on theory but rather on what works.  I do not play trick or treat with the dogs and
I think clicker training is useless and here is why.  If your dog is running toward traffic, do you really think he/she
will respond to "Treat" or even hear a clicker.  Simply saying what comes natural, "Stop" will stop your dog if you
keep up on the prescribed lessons I will teach you and your dog. Additionally, I do not want to train your dog
twice, once with a clicker or treat, then confuse him or her with another training consisting of eliminating formally
set expectations.  To me that is silly and time consuming.  Another problem with these methods involves owners
not understanding the importance of the transition and quitting prematurely with an animal that will only do tasks
for bribery.

Consistency, play, love, and reinforcement are what I use to train dogs through the use of crates, secure soft
collars, positioning, good boy/girl, body language, and voice fluctuation. I do not use choke chains or harnesses
and only result to prong collars if needed.

After being a member of a veterinary clinic and trying to help dogs recover from neck and body injuries from
choke chains and harnesses I decided prong collars are wonderful devises when used properly.  They may look
painful but on further inspection you will notice the prongs are angeled so they do not actually stab your dog in
the neck but pinch the dog's skin causing an irritation, not pain.  I always try out training equipment on myself
before I use it on any dog, these do not hurt, try placing the appropriate size on your thigh to irritate yourself.  I
do not use electronic devises, however, the citronella bark collar is great for some barking problems, please, do
not use these inside the crate.

Below are the main commands available, others can be easily taught to your dog including a controlled fetch,
tracking, and, when I have my course finally assembled, agility.  I do not like to teach dogs aggression therefore
no guard dog training or protection training for most clients.
